Christian unity is important. And unity in the gospel is essential. On Sunday, August 9, 2015, the Adult Sunday School Class reviewed Exodus 30:17 through 31:11.
Exodus 30:17-21 describes the last of the seven items of furniture in the tabernacle. The bronze basin was used for the washing of the hands and the feet of the priests. For us it speaks of the need for daily cleansing through confession and the washing afforded us through the word.
Exodus 30:22-38 provides the formulas for preparing the anointing oil and the incense.
In Exodus 31:1-11 God identifies the two principal artisans who are to craft the tabernacle, its furnishings, the priests’ garments, and other items.—Chuck Cain

As the Light of life, Jesus is the source of all life, the shadows disappear before him, and he purifies the darkness of sin from all who believe in him.
1. The Light of the World—God who shone at creation now shines in the hearts of believers through Christ.
2. The Victor Over Darkness—Believers have been set free from sin and walk in the light.
3. The Light of Life—The Light and Creator of the world has come down to us to be with us and calls us to follow him and walk with him.

Mr. Robert Mossotti
On Sunday, August 2, 2015, Mr. Robert Mossotti taught about Old Testament Eschatology in the Adult Sunday School Class. His texts were Genesis 2 and Revelation 2.
What is “eschatology?” When did mankind first have an eschatology? Was it when the prophets spoke of a coming Suffering Servant, or the Day of the Lord? Or was it when the promise was given of the arrival of David’s greater son, or even all the way back when our first parents received the promise of the Seed of the Woman just after the Fall?

Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, when they see your respectful and pure conduct. Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear—but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious. For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands, as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord. And you are her children, if you do good and do not fear anything that is frightening. Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.
